An innovative development for sports technology and community engagement has seen leading online sports portal solution provider GameDay announce a groundbreaking partnership with Downball Australia, the national governing body downball, which aims to elevate the downball experience for players and enthusiasts across the country, making it more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.

Starting from the upcoming season, Downball Australia will leverage GameDay’s comprehensive suite of services, including national membership registration, competition management systems, officials management, and product-led training programs.

Additionally, the collaboration will introduce advanced business intelligence capabilities through GameDay View and integrations with popular apps and voucher systems to further engage the downball community.

Welcoming the partnership, Downball Australia President, Andrew Philp advised “we are delighted to be partnering with GameDay to provide the most accessible and widely known participation sport in Australia to downball enthusiasts everywhere.

“This partnership represents a significant step forward in our mission to expand downball’s reach and enhance the experience for all involved.”

Kosta Dokolas, GameDay’s Senior Accounts Manager (APAC), added “our work with national sporting organisations like Downball Australia embodies the core of GameDay’s mission. We’re excited to support a sport that holds a special place in the hearts of Australians, and we’re committed to fostering its growth at all levels.”

Both GameDay and Downball Australia are eager to embark on this partnership, confident in the positive impact it will have on the sport’s community and its future.
