GameDay and World Freestyle Football Association renew partnership

Sports management technology solutions provider GameDay, powered by Stack Sports, has renewed their partnership with the World Freestyle Football Association as they continue to support the growth and development of the sport on a global scale.
Back in 2021, the WFFA rolled out GameDay’s next-generation events platform to support their mission to develop and nurture the global structure for freestyle football. This included GameDay providing the digital infrastructure used to assist participants to enter WFFA-sanctioned events around the world.
In addition, the WFFA’s overall digital ecosystem has been enhanced by a dynamic front-end website, which to this day remains the global hub for freestyle football around the world.
GameDay has already hit some impressive heights alongside the WFFA, including at the Super Ball World Open in Prague back in August 2023. At the week-long event - the biggest and most prestigious on the world circuit - they were able to smash records for both the overall number of participants (429) and the number of female freestylers registered.
This partnership renewal will enable GameDay to build on the foundations already in place and further support the sport as its surge in popularity continues.
Greg Sturge, GameDay director of strategy (EMEA) enthused “we are delighted to have extended our strong partnership with the WFFA. Having seen steady growth in participation numbers across all elements of the sport and the WFFA’s events, we are committed to continue supporting and facilitating that upward trend.
“The WFFA also have some exciting plans for their expansion and digital integration across the sport that we look forward to working with them on in the coming months!”
Dan Wood, head of partnerships at the WFFA added “GameDay has provided us with a great solution from which we can evolve and grow our sport.
“The ease of administration and range of plug-ins mean we can focus on the core management functions of our sport with greater time and attention. We are very happy to continue this partnership into 2024 and beyond.”
