Sports Matters to stage first Australian leadership forum

After more than a decade of helping develop the global sporting landscape across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, Dubai and the USA, Sports Matters is to stage its first Australian event on Friday 1st August.
Being held in Sydney on the eve of the final test of the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia, the invitation-only leadership forum will bring together elite voices from across the sports, brand, media and technology landscape.
The Forum will spotlight key voices from global sport, including from Rugby Australia, Tennis Australia, Destination NSW, AFC Women’s Asia Cup Australia 2026, Tixserve, RM Williams, Paralympics Australia, Under Armour, Howden and others.
Commenting on the event, Rugby Australia Director - Commercial & Marketing, James Durbin stated "to host Sports Matters on the eve of the final Test is a tremendous opportunity to showcase not only the strength of Australian Rugby, but also the collaborative energy across sport, brands and innovation.
